Sacred Heart Diet

It’s official - one of the biggest industries in our country’s economy is the dieting industry.  With more people busy with their jobs and family commitments, it’s getting harder and harder to find the time to take care of our health.  Of course, this becomes a problem as this problem manifests itself in health problems and excessive weight.  If this is a problem that you are facing, then now may be the right time for you to find the perfect diet for you.

One of the most popular diets today is the Sacred Heart Diet. The sacred heart diet is a bit of a mystery.  While supporters of the sacred heart diet swear by its effectiveness, there are a number of critics that question its effect on your health. While there are still skeptics to this diet, proponents of the sacred heart diet tell stories of how much it has helped their lives.  It is quiet common to find people that have lost up to 17 pounds when they have gone on the sacred heart diet.

The sacred heart diet is a 7 day program that emphasizes eating specific foods.  Supporters of the sacred heart diet provide stories of how it has given them a happier feeling by removing impurities within their body.  It is a diet that emphasizes the consumption of soup and is known for its low caloric intake.  When you are on the sacred heart diet, you are allowed to drink these beverages: coffee, cranberry juice, herbal tea, skim milk, tea, unsweetened juices, and water.

On the first day of the sacred heart diet, you are only allowed to eat soup and any fruit except for bananas.  On this day, it is highly recommended that you eat cantaloupe and watermelon, due to their low calorie intake.  For the second day of the sacred heart diet, it is recommended that you only eat vegetables.  It is recommended that you eat only green leafy vegetables with your soup.  Additionally, you should eat a baked potato with a bit of butter.  The third day of the sacred heart diet consists of soup, fruit, and vegetables.  However, eating a baked potato is prohibited on this day.  For the fourth day of the sacred heart diet, you should eat a minimum of three bananas with your soup.  Additionally, you should drink as much skim milk as you can on this day. 

On day five of the sacred heart diet, you can eat up to twenty ounces of beef with a can of tomatoes.  To compliment this meal, you should eat as much soup as you can for this day.  For the sixth day of the sacred heart diet, you can eat as much beef and vegetables as your body can handle.  Again, you should at least drink the soup once.  On the final day of the sacred heart diet, it is recommended that you eat brown rice and vegetables throughout the day.  For some flavor, you should drink unsweetened fruit juice to go with your soup.

Due to its low caloric intake, the sacred heart diet can produce large weight loss quickly.  However, there are many critics of the sacred heart diet who worry that it does not provide your body with enough nutrients.  It is also important to note that the sacred heart diet has not been recommended by the Sacred Heart Hospital.  Regardless of this, the sacred heart diet is known to be effective and as it is a short term diet, it does not cause serious health problems.  As an effective eating guide and a short term cleansing, the sacred heart diet may be the diet that propels you to a life of healthiness!
