Another important part of the weight training diet is to obtain enough fat from your diet.  While many people make assumptions when they look at the fat content in certain foods, it is important to remember that fat is an essential nutrient.  However, it is important for somebody on a weight training diet to remember that unsaturated fat is not beneficial to their health.  Although it may seem like common sense, but the most common thing that people neglect from their weight training diet is the importance of water.  As you lose fluids during weight training, it is important that you drink at least 12 glasses of water everyday.  Another excellent beverage to have on a weight training diet are sports energy drinks.  This will help give you extra energy as you embark on your weight training.
