Botox

Botox is a euphemism for a substance with a very scary name, called botulinum toxin. As its name suggests, botox is a toxic substance. In fact, botulinum toxin is one of the most toxic natural substances on earth. Once scientists had isolated the bacteria that produces botulinum toxin, they were able to isolate the botulinum toxin an test its effects on animals. They found that botox inhibits transmission of neural signals to muscles. The discovery of botox’s effects is not a new one. Since the fifties, scientists have known that botox inhibits neuromuscular signals by blocking the release of acetylcholine into the neuromuscular junction. In the seventies and eighties, scientists conducted many tests on chimps to examine the effects of botox. Today, botox is used in minute quantities to relax the muscles between your brows to reduce wrinkles there. Botox has also been used to treat a number of muscle conditions, including many diseases that cause muscle spasms. More recently, botox has been used to treat migraines, asthma, excessive underarm sweating and obesity.

Wrinkles

Nobody likes getting their first wrinkles; wrinkles make you look and feel old and haggard. But people have been getting wrinkles for ages, so is there really any way to stop it? The fact is, as you get older, your cells age and though you produce new cells all the time, your body begins to wear out. It’s like making photocopies from photocopies; though your cells keep multiplying to replace dead cells, the quality of the copy is slightly reduced with each reproduction. When you’re young you don’t get wrinkles because your skin is taught and elastic and returns to its original form after stretching or creasing. As you grow older, the collagen and elastin in your skin become less effective at keeping your skin wrinkle-free. That’s why ypu often see anti-aging skin creams that contain collagen and elastin. Unless we come up with a way to stop our cells aging, we’re going to have to find another way to reduce wrinkles in our skin. One alternative is to have plastic surgery, for which the wrinkled skin is pulled taught and stapled or sewn in place. This often looks very unnatural, especially on the face, because it stretches out all your features so you look like you’re in a wind tunnel all the time. Another way to combat wrinkles is to fill out the loose skin so that it doesn’t hang down in layers. This can also look strange because it adds bulk where your wrinkles used to be. If you’re wondering about wrinkle creams, they’re all scams. The ‘science’ behind most anti-wrinkle products is absolutely ludicrous. Anti wrinkle creams often advertise new wrinkle-killing ingredients; these are usually standard ingredients that they alter slightly and trademark a fancy name for. For instance, an anti-wrinkle cream might design its own beige dye to put in the cream and call it Wrinkle Reducium. From what I recall of chemistry class, there was no natural element called wrinkle reducium.

Anti-Aging

Botox treatment is used for anti-aging. Though botox treatment cannot reverse aging, it can prevent the look of further aging by reducing wrinkles. Botox treatment reduces wrinkles by preventing you from frowning. Botox treatment is the most common anti aging surgical procedure, far ahead of facelifts and chin lfts.

Botox Injections to Reduce Wrinkles

Botox injections to reduce wrinkles use very low doses of botox that are too little to be toxic. Botox injections to reduce wrinkles are usually for the brow area. The small botox injection inhibits the muscle from contracting, which reduces wrinkling in the area. One of the complaints that some people have about their botox injection is that they cannot make a lot of facial expressions because they can’t use their muscles. Some doctors have used botox injections to treat depression because the botox doesn’t allow them to frown. Apparently, it’s harder to be sad if you’re not able to frown.

Botox Side Effects

Hopefully one of the side effects you’ll experience will be wrinkle reduction. However, there are other botox side effects associated with botox injections that are less exciting. One unfortunate botox side affect is when it affects the wrong muscles. If someone gets botox treatment for frown wrinkiles, the botox might aso act on their eyelids or other parts of their face, of whichthey will lose control o for at least six weeks. Though a lot of botox side affects are associated with allergic reactions to botox, you may also experience bruising around the site of injection. This is not a botox side effect because it is from the injection of the botox, not the botox itself.

Botox Treatment

Botox treatment is used for a number of medical and aesthetic purposes, and there is still a lot of research into what botox treatments can be used for. Right now, botox is the most common cosmetic surgery procedure. In fact, you can get botox treatment at some drug stores. If you’re thinking of having a botox treatment yourself, be aware of the side effects and risks associated with botox treatment.

Beverly Hills Botox

Botox is very popular in Beverly hills and across north America. In fact, it is so commonplace that people have botox parties with their friends or get a botox injection on their lunch hour at the pharmacy. A Beverly hills botox injection is no ifferent to a botox injection anywhere else, except perhaps for the amount of experience the doctor has in performing the procedure. In Beverly hills botox clinics, people stop by regularly for botox injections, as botox treatment is very popular in Beverly hills. After all, wrinkles can mean the end of a career in Beverly hills.
